What can I expect from CoolSculpting®?
At your first consultation, one of our experienced CoolSculpting technicians and medical practitioners will talk you through what to expect, your treatment goals, and the specific areas where you want to eliminate superficial fat underneath the skin. They will take the time to discuss a holistic approach to treatment options from different angles, then focus on specific areas.
For some clients it may take as little as one clinic visit to achieve your goals, with others it may take a few more sessions.
Your treatment day may be the same day as your first consultation, or you may return to the clinic for it. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure: a gel pad and applicator will be applied to the specified area you wish to target which delivers controlled cooling to the targeted fat. You will sit with these applicators on for around 30 minutes to two hours, depending on the area you are targeting. Here you can read a book, listen to music, or catch up on some emails! Once the applicator has done its job, your CoolSculpt technician will massage the area for maximum results and you are finished.
The area may appear red for the rest of the day, but you will be able to resume regular activities straight after your appointment.
When do I see results?
Most patients see results between two and six months after treatment day. Fat cells need time to naturally leave to body, and you will come back to the clinic for a review around the three-month mark to discuss your results with your technician.
