ADELAIDE Injectables
We want to help you look and feel great. A popular treatment are our cosmetic lip and cheek injections.

How do injectables work?
Stem cells are an important part of maintenance and repair of the human body, keeping tissues alive and healthy. Research has shown that fat tissue is a rich source of stem cells that can be applied to different areas of the body and act to rejuvenate the dermis.
Cosmetic injectables can be used on other areas of the body and not always with your own fat tissue. Injectables treatments are a fast and simple treatment that also works on wrinkles. The anti-wrinkle injected relax the facial muscles that cause dynamic lines. These dynamic lines are the fine lines and wrinkles that are visible when muscles are contracted to express a range of emotions. The most common areas dynamic lines form are between the eyebrows, across the forehead and the outer corners of your eyes
The treatment works by injecting a protein substance into specific facial muscles with a very fine needle. We use a natural, purified protein, only available from qualified medical professionals. The procedure takes around 10 minutes and is administered by an experienced surgeon or registered nurse. No anaesthetic is required.
How soon will I see results?
Full results can take up to 14 days to appear with treatment lasting up to four months, gradually decreasing over time. These injectables are often combined with our dermal fillers to further help with skin texture and tone.
Your desired outcome will be discussed at an initial consultation. At Eve On 21, we believe injectables should be used to achieve natural looking and feeling results.

What is the difference between cosmetic injections, dermal fillers, and antiwrinkle injections?
Cosmetic injections, dermal fillers, and antiwrinkle injections are all types of injectables that are used to help you achieve more youthful looking skin. However, they each have a different purpose – so they are three different procedures.
Cosmetic injections are used to improve the appearance of wrinkles and lines on the face. Generally, cosmetic injections work best on fine lines and wrinkles that haven’t been formed yet – or to slightly improve existing ones.
Dermal fillers are used to add volume to the face to improve facial contours, such as using a cheek filler to add volume to a person’s cheeks, a chin filler to shape their chin – or lip fillers for their lips.
Anti wrinkle injections are used to reduce unwanted lines and wrinkles on the face that have already been formed.
The cosmetic injections also differ from dermal fillers in terms of the effect duration. Cosmetic injections last for a shorter period of time than dermal fillers – typically around 3 to 6 months. Dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of filler used.
Antiwrinkle injections work by temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles. This results in a smoothing effect on the skin. Cosmetic injections and dermal fillers work by adding volume to the skin, which results in a plumping effect that fills the appearance of wrinkles and creases.
What injectable treatments and cosmetic procedures are best for me?
If you are looking to significantly improve your appearance, the good news is that you can often do so without resorting to such major cosmetic procedures as a nose job (or nonsurgical rhinoplasty), jawline slimming, or double chin removal.
To choose tailored treatments that are best for improving your facial aesthetics, you need to consider what each of the treatments involves.
Lip filler (lip fillers)
Lip fillers are a cosmetic procedure in which a filler material is injected into the lips to enhance their appearance. There are a variety of different lip fillers available (some permanent and some temporary), each with its own benefits and drawbacks. The type of lip filler used will depend on the patient’s individual needs and preferences.
Modern lip augmentation often uses a substance that is naturally found in the body which attracts and binds to water. Lip fillers are a popular choice for people who want to improve the appearance of their lips. They can help to make the lips look fuller and more voluptuous, and can also reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the mouth.
This relatively simple procedure is usually performed at a cosmetic clinic. Topical anaesthesia is applied to numb the lips before the filler is injected by a cosmetic nurse or doctor. Filler also contains a numbing agent to make the process more comfortable.
PDO thread (PDO threads)
Permanent PDO threads, also known as PDO Threads, are thought to be the best method to rejuvenate sagging skin because of their ability to provide both immediate and long term results with little discomfort. It is used for facial rejuvenation among other things.
A PDO thread is a type of permanent cosmetic procedure that uses a thread to lift and rejuvenate the skin. The PDO thread is inserted into the skin with a needle, and then it is pulled tight like a string. This pulls the skin up and creates a more youthful appearance.
PDO Threads are made of polydioxanone (PDO), which is a synthetic monofilament polymer that is biologically degradable and biocompatible.
PDO threads are used for many cosmetic procedures, but they are most commonly used in the treatment of facial wrinkles. A pdo thread is composed of a single filament with barbs on either end. One barb remains above the skin while the other one penetrates the skin.
The pdo thread is then pulled tight like a string, which pulls the skin up and creates a more youthful appearance. The barbs on the thread help to keep the thread in place, and the thread will slowly dissolve over time.
PDO threads are also used for:
- Lip augmentation
- Brow lift
- Eye rejuvenation treatments
- Acne scar treatments
- Hair loss treatments
In addition to being a cosmetic treatment, pdo threads have been used for other medical procedures such as treatment of hernias, strengthening vocal cords and treating joint pain.
Dermal filler (dermal fillers) and anti wrinkle treatments
Dermal fillers and anti wrinkle treatments are popular options available to those who are looking to improve the appearance of their skin. Dermal fillers are used to add volume to the skin, while anti wrinkle treatments help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Both dermal fillers and anti wrinkle treatments can be effective in improving the appearance of the skin, but dermal fillers can be helpful for those who are looking to make significant changes quickly.
